Last astronomical phenomenon of the year partial solar eclipse occurs on Thursday

the last astronomical phenomenon of the
year and annular solar eclipse took place today according to the korea
astronomy and a space science institute it started at 2:12 p.m. local time and
was visible in few areas across the country including soil condo and
gyeonggi-do provinces sporadic precipitation in some areas made it
difficult for residents to witness the eclipse the moon stood between the Sun
and the earth covering about 13.8% of the Sun at around 3:15 p.m. it was over
at around 4 11:00 p.m. the phenomenon is also known as the Ring of Fire the moon
wasn’t close enough to completely block the Sun so a thin ring of solar disk was
visible people from across Asia including Dubai India Singapore and
Thailand were also treated to the rare event
